September PD1


Yesterday I got my period after 18 days late. The pain was terrible, it felt like someone trying to rip my uterus out of my body. I haven’t feel this kind of pain for quite awhile. Yes, I cried. I suspected jogging as the culprit.

I tried to make rice noodle for lunch, the pain was escalating so fast. I felt heavy cramps and I felt that I was going to passed out, I had cold sweats. It was terrible πŸ˜–

My husband came home from work around 5pm, I was curling on the couch. He said, “You look terrible, are you in pain?”. Yes, I was in so much pain!


I couldn’t sleep well last night. I took 1 x 200mg liquid ibuprofen around 11:30pm. But it didn’t touch the pain at all. I cried again, frustrated. The pain stayed until around 3am, I couldn’t sleep. I was watching a comedy tv show, but couldn’t distract my brain from my pain. And then I remember about massaging certain spot on my leg that might help with the pain.

I massaged that spot on my left leg, omg it was so painful! I kept doing it for about 15 minutes, I noticed that the pain had lessen. I felt relieved 😌 I massaged my right leg too, it wasn’t as painful as my left side. I was doing it until I fell asleep. Why didn’t I do it earlier? πŸ˜… I really have problem to remember things that useful for my condition 😬

Another Less Painful Day – Thank You Uterus!

Period Day 4

Yesterday was a pretty easy day. The pain was quite light but I ended up took total 3 ibuprofen, one of them to help me to sleep. Yes, I don’t want to feel any pain at all. I’m tired of toughen up and bear the pain. 

I went to Walmart in the evening around 6pm, I felt no pain at all. The last time I took ibuprofen was around 2 pm. No pain after 4 hours of taken ibuprofen is good for day 4 standard. I’m grateful for that πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

Another Sleepless Night

Period Day 2 


The heavy bleeding period has started. I tried to manage the bleeding by taking coriander seeds decoction + blackstrap molasses and also ibuprofen before my bed time. It seemed it controlled the bleeding but the pain were too much (6-7/10) so I was unable to sleep all night. I fell asleep at 5:27am and woke up at 8:28am because I felt the pain again. Totally I fell asleep for 3 hours. God, I need to take a nap, I feel so exhausted 😩

Pre-Menstrual Pain

Today is day -3 of my next expected period. 

I felt light cramps and back pain since yesterday (1-2/10). I had a really hard day yesterday, it was a very emotional day. I cried all day. The cramps and back pain started after I heard a terrible news (sorry I can’t share about it…). It’s amazing how stress can affect my body that fast.

This morning I feel better emotionally but the pain still there. I took 1 pill of ibuprofen before I went to the vet to get my cat checked but it seemed doesn’t work. I had to toughen up all day. I felt the pain until in the afternoon. Why ibuprofen? Why don’t you work today?! πŸ˜– I think I should took the liquid form ibuprofen instead, somehow I think it works better than the pills.

The pain lessen after I drank a cup of raspberry leaf tea. Raspberry leaf tea help to strengthen uterus and ease menstrual discomfort. I like Yogi brand. I also drink some other variations of their teas.

I’m running out my Ayurvedic medicine for this month and I have been sloppy with my diet (again!) these last 2 weeks, I’m a bit nervous about the pain level for the next period. It sucks that I have think about the next painful period every time πŸ˜–

I need to pray for less pain πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

PD 2: I’m not nocturnalΒ 


Period day 2 has always been a nightmare for me. This is the day where I bleed like a slaughtered animal 😭 Because of the heavy bleeding, my uterus contracted so much, it means more and more pain!

I woke up at 2 AM with pain on my lower abdomen and lower back, I also felt nauseous. I recharged my hot water bag, hoped that the heat will help to relieve the pain. But it didn’t work. I stayed awake until 4AM. I ate a banana and took 1x200mg ibuprofen. 

Around 4:30 AM, one of my neighbors fought in the hallway. This couple always fight in the hallway, screamed to each other day and night. My husband woke up and checked the door, they fought for about 20 minutes. I don’t speak Chinese, so I couldn’t call a cop. None of my neighbors ever reported them. I don’t really know how domestic abuse is being handled here.

I fell asleep around 5:30 AM. I’m not nocturnal, I need a darn night sleep! Adeno loves to make me suffer at night like this 😭

The pain was quite manageable at day time. But around 4PM,  my heavy bleeding started. The pain escalated, I had heavy cramps and back pain for hours. Ibuprofen reacted 2 hours after I took it. 

I ordered vegetarian sushi for dinner. 

Found out that one of the sushi had cheese on it after I ate it, I knew I will pay for it 😭😭😭

PD1 : Just a spot?


I think I have my period. It’s just a spot. Literally a spot. 

I stayed up until 3am last night, too much talking and tv 😬 I felt slight cramps (2/10), I took ibuprofen to help me sleep.

It’s 5:45 PM now, I feel no serious pain, only slight back pain (2/10) and uncomfortable feeling on my lower abdomen (2/10). No ibuprofen taken.

Day 62 ladies… now you can see that I eat the same food most of the time! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
